The parking lots at T2 have five payment methods: a parking booth, code scanning, self-service payment machines, central toll offices and a WeChat official account.
Central toll offices: the central toll offices are mainly located in the P8 parking garage, on the first, second and fourth floor respectively.
Self-service payment machines: self-service payment machines are installed mainly at the entrance and exit of each parking lot. The car owner can enter their license plate number in the self-service payment machine to check and pay their parking fee.
Code scanning: by scanning the payment QR code posted in the parking lot and entering the license plate number, the passenger can complete the payment.
WeChat official account: visitors can follow the "Baiyun Airport" WeChat official account to complete payment through the links.
Parking booth: cash, WeChat or Alipay payments can be completed at the booth while leaving the parking lot.
T2 shares the same parking fees with T1: Parking is free for the first 15 minutes in both the open parking lots and the parking garages. Free parking is offered only twice within 24 hours. Specifically:
|Parking time||First 15 minutes||First 2 hours||3-10 hours||10-24 hours||After 24 hours|
|Small motor vehicles||Free||RMB10/hour||RMB5/hour||RMB60 (based on the 10 hour total)||To be accumulated|
|Large motor vehicles||Free||RMB15/hour||RMB10/hour||RMB110 (based on the 10 hour total)||To be accumulated|
Note: An hourly rate will be charged for less than 1 hour of parking, and large motor vehicles will be charged for the number of parking spaces actually occupied.
For example, RMB(10+10+5) = RMB25 will be charged for 3 hours of parking, and RMB(10×2+5×8) = RMB60 will be charged for a day of parking. RMB(60+60) = RMB120 will be charged for two days of parking.
Baiyun Airport has added P6, P7 and P8 parking lots for T2.
The three parking lots are located on the south side of T2. P6 and P7 are outdoor parking lots and P8 is a parking garage. The three parking lots share three entrances and two exits. Two entrances are located on the west side of the outbound viaduct's upper section, and the other is connected to the bridge approach of the outbound viaduct (which leads directly to the fourth floor of the P8 parking lot). The exits are located on the east side of the outbound viaduct's lower section.
Baiyun Airport offers two free transportation shuttle options for travelers.

2.Metro: passengers can take the free shuttle between Airport South Station (T1) and Airport North Station (T2) during operating hours.
Tip: the distance between T1 and T2 is about 2 kilometers, which takes about 5 minutes without traffic.
Terminal 2 (T2) is designed with a "single direction" traffic flow and has the largest ground traffic center (GTC) in South China. Whether departing or arriving, all inbound and outbound traffic is completed in the terminal building and the ground traffic center.
Passengers traveling by private cars, taxis, online car-hailing and buses (long-distance, urban lines) can get to the departure hall for check-in by going directly to the T2 departure area via the outbound viaduct.
* All long-distance or urban buses arriving at the airport will first stop at T2 for passenger drop off, and then continue on to T1. Passengers can choose to get off at T2 or T1 as needed.
You can take a taxi outside the lobby on the first floor of T2, or can seamlessly enter the GTC and choose to take the metro, bus, taxi, private car or other transport to leave the airport.
The "Airport North Station" of the metro is located on the basement level one of GTC hall's west side and there are exits at both the traffic center and the terminal building.
The GTC has set up bus stops on the east and west sides on the first floor. The west side is for urban buses and long-distance buses, and the east side is for tour buses.
Taxi pick-up points for domestic and international arriving passengers have been set up at Gates 50 and 53 of the T2 arrival area respectively.
T2 does not have a minibus waiting channel in the arrival area. Therefore, vehicles such as private cars that arrive at T2 for pickup need to enter P6, P7 and P8 parking lots to wait for passengers. Arriving passengers can pass through the GTC to go to major parking lots.
There are two oversized baggage check-in counters in T2 (international and domestic):
International: at the end of check-in area M of the departure hall on the third floor;
Domestic: at the end of check-in area F of the departure hall on the third floor.
If your identification card is lost or expired, you can go to the police office window in the airport terminal to verify your identity and apply for the "Civil Aviation Administration of China Temporary ID Card" (two recent one-inch certificate photos are required. The airport also provides photo booths for your convenience). The police office at T2 is located behind check-in area J of the departure hall on the third floor.
T2 covers 1,300 wireless hotspots and 1G of output bandwidth, and service is free as long as you authenticate every five hours. Passengers can connect to the airport Wi-Fi via mobile phone number or WeChat. In addition, the terminal of the passenger service system in Terminal 2 supports scanning your passport, identification card, or boarding pass to obtain Wi-Fi login passwords.
