Kos Island International Airport (KGS) is located 22km south-west of Kos Town. Grab a taxi from the rank at the front of the terminal. Or hop on a public bus, which run at regular intervals throughout the day and take around 40 minutes. If you’re staying in Kardamena or Kefalos we’d recommend pre-booking a transfer before you go to save money and avoid the queues. Alternatively KTEL buses do run to the islands resorts and can be picked up from the roundabout outside the Kos Airport gate.
