Summer is the most popular season of the year to visit Bulgaria, so book your flights in spring and autumn if you want to pay less for your flights, but still enjoy the country’s temperate climate.
The best time to visit Bulgaria depends on the reason for your trip. If you’re looking to enjoy a beach holiday by the Black Sea, summers are hot with up to 10 hours of sunshine a day. Spring and autumn still offer plenty of warm weather for exploring, while winter is cold and snowy and perfect for taking to the slopes in the mountains.
