The flight from London to Jersey Airport (JER) is just 40 minutes.
The cheapest months to fly to Jersey are usually December, January or February. Peak season is from June to August.
Jersey isn’t the cheapest place to visit but you can make the most of your budget if you book a package holiday with British Airways. However, everything is tax-free on the island, making it a popular shopping destination.
Jersey Airport (JER) is located just five miles from the capital of St. Helier and is easily accessible with a number of transport options. A bus service operates to and from the city centre, and taxis are available at the airport.

Only a short plane ride from London, Jersey is a remote island escape that’s close to home. Situated between France and England in the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, it’s the biggest of the Channel Islands despite being only 9 miles by 5 miles. With rugged coastlines, sandy beaches and a warm climate, there’s plenty to do whether you want to spend a day soaking up the sun at St. Aubins beach or take a short ferry ride to explore Elizabeth Castle–built on a rocky inlet in the 16th-century.
Citizens of the UK and Ireland and EU passport holders do not need a visa to visit. If you hold a passport from a country or territory outside of these areas, you may need to apply for a visa before you travel.
