You can fly from London Heathrow (LHR) to Zante International Airport (ZTH) in just under four hours.
We fly from London to Zante between April and September and the peak season runs from June to August, so it may be cheaper to fly outside of these busy summer months. To find the cheapest flights to Zante, search our low fare finder.
Zante is a very affordable destination, with lower prices on food, drink and accommodation than on many of its neighbouring islands. Choose a lively resort holiday or immerse yourself in traditional Greek culture in Zante Town and travel to small mountain villages – the choice is yours.
Zakynthos International Airport (ZTH) is a short distance from the island’s main town of Zante. Book a private transfer or airport shuttle to your hotel or take a bus to the city centre from outside the airport. If you prefer, there are metered taxis outside the airport 24 hours a day, and a journey to Zante Town takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
You can also hire a car with British Airways if you want to see more of what Zante has to offer. You’ll receive great benefits, with all mandatory charges included and 24-hour customer support, plus you’ll collect Avios points on every rental.
Zante, known as Zakynthos in Greece, is known for its spectacular natural scenery, from lush, rolling hillsides covered in wildflowers to beautiful beaches with turquoise waters. Home to Smuggler’s Cove –one of the most famous and photographed beaches in Greece – you can also find olive groves, lemon trees and secret hidden lagoons if you go beyond the tourist trail.
