Useful information
Heathrow flight connections
If you’re catching a connecting flight from another London airport, please allow yourself plenty of time to travel there from London Gatwick. If your bags are labelled for your next destination and you’ve been given a boarding pass for your next flight, you won't need to collect your bags before you leave the airport.
However, if your bags are labelled with ‘LHR’, ‘LCY’ or ‘LON’ when you check them in, you’ll need to pick them up at baggage claim before continuing your journey.
London train connections
London Heathrow is served by both the Piccadilly Line and Elizabeth Line on the London Underground, making it exceptionally well connected throughout London. Trains run frequently, usually having to wait no longer than 10 minutes, and services operate from 05:00 until 23:30.
From these underground routes, you can connect with all other mainline train services to reach your destination.
Parking at Heathrow airport
Make your journey easier with our parking partner. Leave your car at a nearby car park with quick transfers, drop it off outside the terminal with valet parking, or combine an airport hotel stay with parking and transfers.
Plus, you can earn 5 Avios for every £1 spent when you pre-book your parking as part of our Executive Club.
Heathrow Express
The Heathrow Express takes just 15 minutes from London Paddington to Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3, and just over 20 minutes to Terminal 5.
Trains provide level access, ample luggage racks and complimentary Wi-Fi. Children aged 15 and under travel for free.
Executive Club Members can collect 5 Avios for every £1/$1/€1 spent.
