Fly to Malta from London with British Airways and enjoy our world-class service as we whisk you away to the Mediterranean.
It may be one of the world's smallest countries, but what Malta lacks in size it more than makes up for in sparkling coastline and stunning scenery. With its warm climate, numerous sandy beaches and three UNESCO World Heritage Sites (including the ancient Megalithic Temples) a holiday in Malta offers the perfect escape for those looking to relax and unwind. Due to Covid-19, schedules and airports are subject to change. For the latest information, check our timetable.
The cheapest months to fly to Malta are December through February. These are generally the coldest months of the year but can be a good time to explore the Maltese islands away from the larger crowds that flock there in summer.
Malta is very affordable, particularly if you visit in the low season. It’s easy to get around as it’s so small, but keep in mind that the capital city of Valletta is tiny so accomodation in the summer months may cost more due to demand.
Once you arrive at Malta International Airport (MLA), the main resorts on the island aren’t far away. Dedicated bus services run directly to and from the airport and an official shuttle service will get you to hotels across the island. Taxis and car hire are also available at the terminal.
Book a car hire with British Airways, and receive great benefits – with all mandatory charges included and 24-hour customer support. You can collect Avios points on every rental.
Located in the middle of the Mediterrean near Sicily, this archipelago manages to pack a lot of history, culture and breathtaking beauty into one of the smallest countries in the world. The capital city of Valletta is a UNESCO World Heritage site, alongside the incredible prehistoric Hal Saflieni Hypogeum, a 5,000 year old underground burial site carved from rock. For adventure seekers, the clear waters and rocky shores are perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling.
