On arrival at Kalamata International Airport, there are a few options to help you get into town. The bus runs in daytime only from outside the terminal. Pick up a taxi, which costs around €20 for the 10km journey – they wait just outside the doors of the airport. You’ll be given the opportunity to add a door-to-door transfer once you’ve booked your flight or holiday. You could also choose to hire a car, which gives you the freedom to explore Kalamata and the surrounding area at your own pace.
