Flights to Morocco

The cheapest months to fly to Morocco are during the winter, but that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on the sights. The temperature usually sits comfortably in the low teens at this time of year, so while it might be a bit chilly for a beach day, the weather is perfect for exploring the cities and souks.

Morocco experiences very hot summers, so if you’re a fan of the heat, this is the best time for you to visit. The inner cities swelter under the sun, so coastal escapes to areas like Agadir are a good option for a sea breeze and taking dips in the surf. Choose to visit during the spring or autumn and you’ll enjoy milder temperatures, so hop on a flight at this time if you’re planning on major sightseeing.

You can adapt your trip to fit your budget – from affordable accommodation options to high-end luxury hotels, and street food stalls to fine dining. You can also pick up souvenirs for less at the souks with a bit of clever haggling.

Morocco’s cities come equipped with taxis and buses to get you around, and you can take trains across country if you want to explore beyond the boundaries of your first destination. Another option is to rent a car, which gives you the freedom to travel on your own time.

There’s a little something for everyone in Morocco. Enjoy a slice of authentic Moroccan culture by sipping mint tea in a riad, visiting traditional Berber villages and enjoying treatments in a hammam. Head out into the mountains for hiking, the desert for sandboarding or to the coast for surfing. On top of all of that, you can admire the beauty of the Jardin Majorelle gardens, plus find one-of-a-kind treasures in the souks and visit historic mosques in every major city.
