Is Jamaica cheap to visit?
Jamaica can be very affordable with some planning. The birthplace of the ‘all-inclusive’ resort, the island standard is high so it’s easy to find one that will appeal in Montego Bay, Negril or Ocho Rios. For a resort experience that’s a bit more tucked away, try Port Antonio on the northeast coast.
Is it easy to get around Jamaica?
Norman Manley Airport (KIN) is located 19km south of Kingston, the island’s capital. There’s a direct bus every 30 minutes from the airport to the city centre that takes about 40 minutes or you can take a taxi from outside the terminal.
With a motorway connecting the island, travelling to popular resort areas in Montego Bay or Ocho Rios is easy if you’re looking to explore the island.
