Three long-haul flight tips for Orlando
Travelling can be tiring, but you can arrive refreshed and ready to go if you follow some easy steps:
Keep hydrated during your flight. Drink plenty of soft drinks and water to help your body feel good. Moisturise your skin and use lip balm too. Remember to stretch your legs on a little walk down the aisle, to keep blood circulating.
Get ahead of jet lag by living on your new time zone as soon as you can. Orlando is five hours behind GMT. Use our jet lag calculator for advice from our sleep expert.
Look after your ears – you can chew on gum or sweets when you take off and land, so you don’t suffer with the pressure change. Yawning, as well as exhaling through your nostrils whilst gently pinching them, will help your ears to adjust comfortably.
