Ibiza’s airport lies just five miles from Ibiza Town and is connected to it by a regular bus service, which costs about €3.50 per journey. Buses run between the island’s major towns, such as San Antonio and Santa Eulalia. However, Ibiza’s small size means that taxis are relatively affordable even for longer distances across the island. Expect to pay only €15-30 for most journeys – but be warned, queues during the summer months can be quite long. Alternatively, hire a car to drive to your hotel and enjoy the island in your own time.
If you are travelling on a European Union passport then you currently do not need a visa to visit Ibiza. Ibiza is recognised as Spanish territory, and therefore travel restrictions are the same as they are on mainland Spain.
