Fly to Las Vegas with British Airways to kick off your Nevada adventure in style.

Take a walk along the three-mile Las Vegas Boulevard, which has to be seen to be believed. Or take it all in from above at the Strat Hotel’s 1,149-foot-high observation tower, where you can watch the glittering lights illuminate the desert at dusk.

While it’s all glitz and glam on the strip, head to Fremont Street – the original Las Vegas epicenter and former Rat Pack hangout – for some quirky experiences and nostalgic charm.

Then if you fancy a break from it all, you’re just a chopper ride away from the majestic Grand Canyon National Park.

Whether you choose economy or business class flights, travel in comfort when you book your holiday to Las Vegas with us.

Las Vegas flight FAQs

Flights from London to Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport take around 10 hours.

Flights are often cheaper between September and May, outside of the peak summer months. You can use our search to find the cheapest flights to Las Vegas.

Visitors to Las Vegas usually factor in plenty of spending money, as drinking and dining, visiting attractions and shopping can all add up – and that’s without visiting the casinos. However, if you’re visiting on a budget, there are ways you can keep the costs down. Try booking a hotel off the main strip, as you’ll be paying a location premium at the five-star hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard. Most of the bars and casinos in these luxury hotels are accessible to everyone, so you don’t need to stay at the top end of your budget to experience the high life.

You can pre-book experiences and show tickets before you visit to save on same-day ticket fees. You could also end up paying more if you visit at the weekend when Las Vegas is busiest, so avoid Friday or Saturday night shows to save on your ticket costs.

Las Vegas’ busy strip is just a 10-minute drive from the airport. You can take a taxi or a pre-booked transfer for a quick and easy journey to your hotel. Alternatively, there are budget-friendly buses and shared shuttle transfers which take a little longer.

Once you’re in Las Vegas, many visitors choose to book taxis using ride-sharing apps, or staff at hotels or restaurants are happy to arrange taxis on your behalf.

If you're not in hurry, you can get around on one of the hop-on, hop-off open-top bus tours. You’ll see all the key sights and get a little local knowledge thrown in too.

You can also hire a car with British Airways if you want to see more of what Las Vegas has to offer. You’ll receive great benefits, with all mandatory charges included and 24-hour customer support, plus you’ll collect Avios points on every rental.

What happens in Vegas... is totally up to you, with hundreds of experiences to keep everyone entertained. Relax and take it easy by the pool with a cocktail by day then enjoy fine dining and watch a cabaret show by night. Or if extreme sports are more your speed, you can ride roller coasters, go skydiving and take a helicopter ride above the Boulevard all before dinner. And not forgetting the legendary nightlife that’s inspired countless Hollywood scriptwriters.

For a change of pace from the bright lights and late nights, you don’t need to venture far to experience the great outdoors. Red Rock Canyon is just outside the city where you can hike and take in panoramic views over Las Vegas Valley and the striking desert landscape.

You can book a hand baggage-only ticket or make the most of our generous baggage allowance. If you choose economy standard or one of our British Airways Holidays’ packages, each passenger can check in a bag weighing up to 23kg – in addition to a handbag, laptop case or other small bag. Families travelling in any cabin with younger children can also check in one car seat and one fully collapsible pushchair. Read more about baggage allowances for children.

If you’re flying in our business cabin, you can check in two bags weighing up to 32kg each. Read our baggage guide for full details.

Citizens of the UK and Ireland and EU passport holders do not need a visa to visit the USA. However, you will need an ESTA, which permits travel to the US for 90 days or less. If you hold a passport from a country or territory outside of the listed areas, you may need to apply for a visa before you travel. You can find out more about visa requirements for all the countries we fly to at the IATA Travel Centre.

Discover outstanding service from the moment you book. Fly with just hand baggage and you can carry two bags free of charge.
