Flying to Ibiza (IBZ) with British Airways couldn’t be easier. You could be exploring one of Europe’s most popular island getaways in just under two and a half hours.
Most famous for its summer season parties, holidays in Ibiza also boast medieval villages in its interior, out of the way beaches and centuries of history in its ancient capital, Ibiza Town. For daytime activities away from the island’s many beaches, San Jordi’s large flea market sells traditional Balearic crafts. While Ibiza Town’s old market and active fishing port make it a great place to eat fresh seafood. Flights to Ibiza are also a convenient way of reaching the smaller, quieter island of Formentera, which is just half an hour from Ibiza Town by ferry.
British Airways flights to Ibiza Airport (IBZ) from London Heathrow (LHR), London Gatwick (LGW) London City (LCY) and London Stansted (STN) airports take around two and a half hours. British Airways runs up to seven flights to Ibiza daily, also providing award-winning service and either hand-baggage only or a generous 23kg checked baggage allowance, depending on the ticket you choose.
Fly non-stop to Ibiza and explore a varied island that contains both famous nightclubs and secluded beaches. For added convenience, you can check in for your flight online or via your mobile phone. Choose to fly with hand baggage only or pick a price that includes a 23kg checked baggage allowance. From 11 January 2017, you can also buy delicious food from British food favourite M&S on board all flights flying from/to London Heathrow and London Gatwick. That means you can sit back, relax and enjoy the food you love from the British high street while in the air. For your convenience we will only accept credit/debit cards on board.
Ibiza’s airport lies just five miles from Ibiza Town and is connected to it by a regular bus service, which costs around €3.50. Buses run between the island’s major towns, such as San Antonio and Santa Eulalia. However, Ibiza’s small size means that taxis are relatively affordable even for longer distances across the island. Expect to pay between €15-30 but be warned, during the summer months the queues get quite long. Alternatively, hire a car to enjoy the island in your own time.
