Baggage allowance on codeshare and interline journeys
If your journey includes travel on an airline other than Qatar Airways, including a Qatar Airways codeshare flight operated by another airline including Cathay Pacific, that operating airline may offer you a lower baggage allowance. Baggage allowances on codeshare routes are determined by IATA's Most Significant Marketing Carrier (MSC) rule.
In the case of codeshare or interline flights that form part of an itinerary where the ultimate ticketed origin or destination is a point in the USA and Canada, the baggage allowances and charges applicable at the beginning of the itinerary will be applied throughout the journey.
The new interline baggage rules for Canada take effect for all tickets issued on/after 01 April 2015.

You may carry liquids, gels, pastes, and aerosols in containers up to 100ml (3.4oz) in your hand baggage. Containers larger than 100ml will not be accepted even if only partly filled. Your containers must be carried in a transparent, resealable, quart- or liter-sized bag no larger than 20x20cm (8x8in). All items must fit comfortably in the plastic bag.
You are required to produce your transparent bag of liquids separately for security screening. There are no restrictions on baby foods and medication. However, you may be required to present a prescription for medication you want to take onboard.
According to a security measure imposed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the USA, all electronic devices carried by customers traveling to the USA must be fully charged before boarding flights to the US.
You must be able to turn on their electronic devices at security checkpoints in order to prove they are genuine, so it is advisable to carry the chargers for any electronic devices in your hand baggage.
Please note that powerless electronic devices will not be permitted onboard the aircraft.
