Flights to Accra

The weather in Accra is warm all year, thanks to its close proximity to the equator, but it has a wet season and a dry one. The winter months, November to February, are the driest, and in December the city turns into a giant party, with a host of events and festivities taking place. It takes about 25 minutes to reach Accra’s city centre by car. If you take a taxi, make sure it’s a licensed one. Alternatively, if you’re staying in a hotel, your accommodation may offer a pick-up service from the airport.
