Lounge access
Enjoy the comfort and facilities of over 30 dedicated British Airways lounges and more than 100 additional partner lounges worldwide.
Lounge access is available to:
- British Airways customers flying on a scheduled flight in Club Europe, Club World or First
- Silver and Gold members of The British Airways Club travelling on scheduled flights operated by British Airways or one of our oneworld®partners
- Emerald and Sapphire members of any oneworld airline frequent flyer programme travelling on a scheduled flight operated by British Airways or one of our oneworld partners
- As a Sapphire or Emerald member, you're welcome to invite one guest per departure flight to join you in the lounge. Your guest must be travelling on British Airways or one of our oneworld partners.
- All lounge access is subject to capacity restrictions.
We provide a variety of lounges across the world in conjunction with our oneworld partners and other lounge operators.
Access varies by lounge type, subject to capacity limits. Please see below for details.
Lounge access is also available to AerClub Platinum or Concierge members, plus one guest, when flying a translatlantic route on a British Airways-operated flight.
Business class lounges only at select locations.
Concorde Room
Access for a cardholder plus one guest to our Concorde Room lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 5 for:
- Gold members travelling in First
- Silver members travelling in First
Gold members and one guest can also access our Concorde Room lounge when flying any class of travel with British Airways or other oneworld® carriers when you reach:
- 65,000 tier points in one year*
- 40,000 tier points in each year thereafter**
*With a minimum of 52,000 from British Airways-marketed flights, qualifying add-ons or British Airways Holidays packages.
**With a minimum of 32,000 from British Airways-marketed flights, qualifying add-ons or British Airways Holidays packages.
Chelsea lounge
Access for a cardholder plus one guest to our Chelsea lounge at New York JFK Terminal 8 for:
- Gold members travelling in First
- Silver members travelling in First
Gold members and one guest can also have access to our Chelsea lounge when:
- You reach 65,000 tier points in one year*
- Or you reach 40,000 tier points in each year thereafter**
- And you're travelling on a scheduled long-haul flight with British Airways, or a long-haul, transcontinental or international short-haul flight with American Airlines.
*With a minimum of 52,000 from British Airways-marketed flights, qualifying add-ons or British Airways Holidays packages.
**With a minimum of 32,000 from British Airways-marketed flights, qualifying add-ons or British Airways Holidays packages.
Customers flying with other oneworld airlines are unable to access this lounge.
First lounges
Access for a cardholder plus one guest:
- Gold members travelling in any British Airways cabin or with any other oneworld carrier
- Silver members travelling in First
Access for cardholder only:
- Gold members travelling with codeshare partners including Aer Lingus and Vueling (flights booked via ba.com only)
At London Heathrow, British Airways lounges are located in Terminals 3 and 5.
Please note: Selected locations offer a lounge bar or dining service exclusively for customers travelling in the First cabin.
Business lounges
Access for cardholder plus one guest:
- Gold members travelling in any British Airways cabin or with any other oneworld carrier
- Silver members travelling in any British Airways cabin or other oneworld carrier
Access for cardholder only:
- Gold members travelling with codeshare partners including Aer Lingus and Vueling (flights booked via ba.com only)
At London Heathrow, British Airways lounges are located in Terminals 3 and 5.
Arrivals lounges
Access for cardholders only:
- Gold members travelling in First, Club World, World Traveller Plus or World Traveller
- Silver members travelling in First or Club World
