Benefits when flying with other airlines
You can enjoy a range of benefits when flying with other oneworld airlines, including Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Fiji Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian, Royal Air Maroc and SriLankan Airlines.
All members of the British Airways Club can collect Avios and earn tier points when you fly on Aer Lingus-operated flights. Other benefits depend on your tier and route.
Bronze members:
- Priority check-in for everyone on the booking, using the Premium or Business Class check-in area.
- Priority boarding for everyone on the booking
Silver and Gold members:
- Priority check-in for everyone on the booking, using the Premium or Business Class check-in area
- Priority boarding for everyone on the booking
- Priority security for you plus one, when travelling from Dublin, Shannon, London Heathrow, Amsterdam, Belfast or Birmingham
- Lounge access for you plus one at selected lounges (excluding Barbados) when travelling on a transatlantic route
- Extra baggage allowance:
- Silver members will get one additional bag at 23kg when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights in economy, excluding EI Saver Fares.
- Gold members will get one additional bag at 23kg when travelling in any cabin on Aer Lingus-operated flights, excluding EI Saver Fares. For EI Business class, an additional piece up to 32kg is allowed but the combined weight must not exceed 96kg.
As Aer Lingus isn’t part of oneworld, your tier will be marked on your boarding pass using the code FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3.
