A plantation style hotel, Sugar Beach covers more than 12 hectares and offers over half a kilometre of sandy beaches. Add over 30 acres of tropical gardens and you really do have all the space you need to relax and unwind. For the more active, there’s a gorgeous pool area, a state of the art gym and spa plus nightly entertainment. The hotel also has several restaurants including French, Italian, seafood and a great selection of bars. At the poolside Tides Bar you can even sample some of the finest plantation rum produced on the island.

La Pirogue is a large, spacious resort with a fantastic long, sandy beach that both couples and families will enjoy. Rooms are found in traditional Mauritian-style thatched cottages set amongst 14 hectares of palm groves and gardens. The atmosphere is authentic and relaxed, but there’s plenty to keep you entertained to from tennis and diving to yoga and sailing. La Pirogue also has its own in-house entertainment team plus a kids’ and teens’ club. Not forgetting the fantastic infinity pool and great range of restaurants including Paul and Virginie. Here you can enjoy eating fresh seafood in an intimate, romantic setting right on the beach.
