If you're traveling with one of our other partners, here's information about other airline baggage and other optional fees.
As long as you booked your flights together in one itinerary, we'll check your bags through to your destination. We'll also check your bags through on all of your US Airways flights.
If you have 2 or more tickets that you booked separately, you'll need to pick up your bag and re-check it with the next airline.
If you stop between flights for more than 24 hours, you'll be charged for bags for each of your flights.
Government taxes and fees may apply and will be added to the charge. Prices are listed in USD and will be collected in the local currency. Corporate/personal checks not accepted.

Liability for loss, delay or damage to checked baggage is limited to $3,400 per ticketed passenger for travel entirely within the U.S.
When US Airways has exercised the ordinary standard of care, it shall not be liable for damage to or damage caused by fragile articles, liquids, or perishables, nor for the loss of, damage to, or delay in:
For international travel (including the domestic portions of international flights) to which the Montreal Convention applies, US Airways' liability for loss, delays, or damage to baggage is limited to approximately $1,807 per passenger for checked and unchecked baggage.
Local airport/government regulations state that any baggage over 70 pounds is not accepted for travel from: MAN, LGW, GLA, LIS, BRU, LHR, DUB.
There is a seasonal baggage embargo for southbound passengers.
During the embargo, passengers are allowed to check only 2 bags - no excess baggage. Passengers may not check boxes. Normal 1st and 2nd checked bag fees apply.
Normal bag allowances for First Class, Dividend Miles Preferred, AAdvantage Platinum and Executive Platinum members, and oneworld Sapphire and Emerald passengers remain unchanged during the embargo. Non-rev passengers are allowed carry-on only (no checked bags).
