THE BRITISH AIRWAYS EXPERIENCEFamily travel

Let our family take care of yours

Family travel means more with us. It means looking after pushchairs, providing child seats and getting you onboard first. It means keeping you all safe and sound, from the airport to arrivals. And it’s what we do best.

Pushchairs and baggage

We know little travellers sometimes require a little more luggage. We’re here to help with all your baggage, pushchairs and more. And with AirPortr, you can even have your luggage collected straight from your doorstep.

Fun for young travellers

Families like yours have helped us reach our centenary year – so we want to say thank you. That’s why we’ve teamed up with leading British children’s brand, My 1st Years, to design a limited-edition aeroplane-print backpack and dedicated ‘My 1st Years Kids Zones’ at our Heathrow and Gatwick lounges.

Travel assistance

Family travel the way it should be

Travelling with your loved ones should be a joy – that’s why we put families first along every step of the journey.

Dedicated family check-in

Keep little ones entertained by visiting our dedicated family check-in at the Zone A desks at Heathrow. There you’ll find games and direct access to the oversized baggage area to drop off car seats and pushchairs.

Priority family boarding

It’s exciting to board the aircraft. Listen out for our priority boarding for families at the gate, which invites you to board first and get yourself comfortably settled for the adventure ahead.

Children eat first

Adventuring is hungry work. That’s why we make sure kids get their meals served first on longer flights – and give you the option to pre-order tasty snacks, meals and treats before you fly.

Where to next?

Adventure awaits

Whether you’re looking for a last-minute getaway with the kids or planning your summer holiday for next year, we have plenty of ideas for 2019/2020 holidays.
