Flights from London to Luxembourg take around one hour and 15 minutes.

It’s just a 20-minute shuttle bus journey from the airport to Luxembourg City centre. These free buses run every ten minutes during the week and slightly less frequently at the weekend. You can also take a taxi if you prefer – although this option comes at a cost.

Once you’re in the city, you can easily explore the main attractions on foot but there’s also a network of free trams and buses to take you wherever you want to go.

The Ardennes Forest covers much of the country’s northern areas, where you can hike, cycle and simply enjoy a slower pace of life. Or less than an hour from the city, go for a swim or try out windsurfing in the clear waters of Upper-Sure Lake. Luxembourg also has a rich history of winemaking, with more 450 vineyards across the country. Sample some of the locally produced wines yourself at the nearby Moselle Valley – a lush and hilly wine region that draws visitors from all around.
