How to collect Avios with IHG® Hotels & Resorts

  1. Join IHG One Rewards and choose The British Airways Club as your earning preference.
  2. If you're already a member of IHG One Rewards, visit Manage Earning Preference to select The British Airways Club as your earning preference. To do this go to your account status page and select ‘change earnings preference’, select Frequent Flyer Miles and choose British Airways as the Frequent Flyer Programme.
  3. Your British Airways Club account will be credited with the applicable Avios approximately six weeks after your stay. If the Avios don't show in your account within six weeks, please submit an online claim form or contact the IHG One Rewards Customer Care.
  4. You have up to six months to claim missing Avios for a stay.
