Earn tier points with your credit card

This Offer is available to British Airways American Express® Premium Plus Cardmembers who successfully enrol by 25 January 2027. Only one enrolment is required.  The Offer ends 1 February 2027 and no tier points can be earned after this date. By enrolling into the Offer, you agree to these Offer Terms.

How to earn a maximum of 2,500 tier points:

• 750 tier points when you spend £15,000 after enrolment; 
• 750 additional tier points when you spend a further £5,000, totalling £20,000 spent after enrolment; and 
• A final 1,000 tier points when you spend a further £5,000, totalling £25,000 spent after enrolment. 

Spend must be billed to your Card by 1 February 2027. The Offer only applies to spend settled in Pounds Sterling (GBP).  Tier points are not earned on: Balance Transfers, Cash Withdrawals, Travellers Cheques, Non-Sterling transaction fees, interest, spending in excess of your credit limit, returned or late payment charges, Cardmembership fee or cancelled/refunded transactions. Tier points cannot be transferred to others or redeemed for cash. 

The Offer includes spend on Supplementary Cards linked to your Account. Your Membership year and Companion Voucher status are not affected. You will continue collecting Avios at your normal rate. Spend that is subsequently cancelled or refunded will not count towards your spend for the purposes of this Offer. 

Tier points will appear on your billing statement as Avios shortly after each Qualifying Spend Threshold is reached and will be transferred to your linked British Airways Club (BAC) account within eight (8) weeks of meeting each Qualifying Spend Threshold. They will be recognised as tier points and awarded to your British Airways Club account upon transfer. They will not count towards your Avios balance. You can earn up to 2,500 tier points per Card Account, subject to an overall maximum of 2,500 tier points per British Airways Club Account, under this Offer. If your Card Account Avios balance is negative, this may result in a delay in transfer of tier points. 

When you reach a new membership tier within the British Airways Club, your status updates immediately (this may take up to 48 hours to show in your Club Account). Tier status lasts for the rest of your current Membership year plus the following year unless you reach a higher tier. Tier points reset to zero each 1 April and expired points move to your Lifetime tier points total. BA’s standard tier rules apply.

If your Card is suspended or cancelled, tier points will not be awarded even if spend thresholds were met. If your Card is replaced for fraud/loss/theft and the Account remains the same, your enrolment and qualifying spend continue. Opening a new Account may require re-enrolment and previous spend won’t carry over. 

We may suspend or cancel the Offer if technical issues or factors beyond our control affect its operation. If fraud, misuse, or breach of the Offer Terms is found or suspected, we may disqualify you from this and future offers and reverse any awarded Avios/tier points. 

We may amend these Terms with reasonable notice. English law applies and the courts of England have non-exclusive jurisdiction. The Offer is provided by American Express Services Europe Ltd. Cardmembers remain bound by British Airways Club terms.
