Choose Airbnb and collect Avios

1. This Offer is jointly provided by (1) Airbnb Ireland UC (“Airbnb”) a company incorporated in Ireland and whose registered office is at 25 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, D01 H104; and (2) Avios Group (AGL) Limited (“AGL”) (company registered number 02260073) a company incorporated in England and Wales and whose registered office is at Waterside, Speedbird Way, Harmondsworth, United Kingdom UB7 0GB.

2. To be eligible for this Offer as listed in clause 7 and 8 (“Eligible Participants” or in the singular, an "Eligible Participant”), customers must be:

a. at least 18 years old;

b. have an active Airbnb account; and

3. In order to verify eligibility for the Offer, we reserve the right to require the Eligible Participant to provide us with proof of age and identity.

4. To earn Avios, Eligible Participants must i) book their stay or experience through https://www.avios.com/en-GB/collect-avios/shopping/retailers/airbnb/; and ii) have cookies enabled in the browser and complete the booking in the same session for Airbnb to track the booking.

5. To participate in this Offer, Eligible Participants must confirm and accept these Terms and Conditions as well as AGL’s (“Scheme”) Terms and Conditions. For full details of the Scheme Terms and Conditions please visit https://www.avios.com/en-GB/terms-and-conditions.      

6. Only one Airbnb account and a linked BAC account will be eligible to receive Avios for each booking. The account holder names for both the BAC and Airbnb accounts must match.

7. The standard Avios earn rate is 2 Avios per £1 / $1 / €1 of Qualifying Spend (the “Offer”) on Airbnb Homes and Airbnb Experiences. Airbnb Services bookings are not eligible for Avios. 

8. Qualifying Spend is the upfront price of the trip, post any promotion or discount, and where applicable, will include tolls, surcharges and fees. Taxes and fees, including Airbnb service fees and cleaning fees, are excluded from Qualifying Spend.

9. The final Avios award will be based on the USD value of the booking, calculated using currency conversion rates determined and applied by Airbnb at the time of booking. Such rates are set by Airbnb and may vary. 

10. The Avios award is calculated based on the initial booking value. Cancelled reservations will not be eligible to earn Avios and amended bookings may, at British Airways' discretion, result in a change in the Avios collected.

11. Avios for stays will be awarded up to 60 days after the booking has been completed and Experiences will be awarded up to 60 days after the booking has been created.

12. Avios can only be credited to a single British Airways Club account linked to the Eligible Participant’s Airbnb account.

13. This Offer is non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Avios related offer or Airbnb offer or promotion.

14. Retrospective claims for Avios are not permitted and missing Avios queries must be submitting within 6-months after the booking has been completed.

15. For any missing Avios queries, please complete the  Claim Missing Avios form stating Airbnb as the non-airline partner.

16. Avios Group (AGL) Limited and Airbnb reserve the right to terminate an Eligible Participant’s participation in this Offer if they believe such Eligible Participant is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if their use is unauthorised, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.

17. Avios Group (AGL) Limited and Airbnb reserve the right to withdraw this Offer or amend these Terms and Conditions, including Avios earn rates (as permitted by law), without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to Eligible Participants for doing so.

18. Avios are issued by Avios Group (AGL) Limited and are subject to acceptance and compliance with the Scheme Terms and Conditions as stated on https://www.avios.com/en-GB/terms-and-conditions

20. By taking part in this Offer, Eligible Participants agree to the personal data they supply being used by AGL and Airbnb or their agents or subcontractors for the sole purpose of administering this Offer as set out in the Airbnb's Privacy Policy, AGL’s Privacy Policy and/or BAC's Privacy Policy. AGL reserves the right to withdraw the promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to customers for doing so.

21. Insofar as is permitted by law, British Airways, AGL and/or Airbnb will not (and nor will our agents or distributors), in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate an Eligible Participant, accept any liability to an Eligible Participant (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Offer whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we (or our affiliates) have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Statutory rights of Eligible Participants are not affected.

22. Promotional materials may form part of these Terms and Conditions.

23. This Offer shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of  England and Wales, but not exclusively if the Eligible Participant is a resident of the United Kingdom but outside England and Wales; then the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland (depending on the Eligible Participant’s jurisdiction) also have jurisdiction. If the Eligible Participant is resident in the Republic of Ireland, then the courts of the Republic of Ireland also have jurisdiction. 

24. Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in the administration of the Offer shall be subject to correction without any liability on the British Airways, Avios Group (AGL) Limited and Airbnb.

25. British Airways, Avios Group (AGL) Limited and Airbnb's collective decision
regarding any aspect of the Offer is final and binding and we will not enter into
correspondence with Eligible Participants (or their representatives) about it.
