Flight Ready Programme – Autism
Flying can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming, especially for those with non-visible disabilities or neurodivergent conditions. That’s why we’ve partnered with Heathrow Airport to create the Flight Ready Programme – Autism, a free, half-day event to help those with Autism and their families travel with confidence.
Ce qui vous attend
The events are held at London Heathrow Airport, where you’ll experience key stages of the airport journey that can feel challenging, such as check-in, security and boarding. You’ll then take part in a cabin experience session, which may be done onboard an aircraft, or in a quiet location within the terminal building. Cabin crew will take you through what happens onboard our aircraft, such as the inflight service, a safety demonstration and disembarking processes.
At each point, you’ll have the chance to walk through the process, ask questions and learn about the support available.
