What's new
Watch this space over the coming months as we share details of our initiatives to enhance your experience both on the ground and in the air.
A taste of summer
We’re kicking off the summer with plenty of treats for all ages.
At London Heathrow and Gatwick airports, families can look out for mascots Peggy and Leon at check-in at weekends. Meanwhile, in our Club Lounges, little ones can tuck into the dedicated kids' buffet while adults enjoy a refreshing summer cocktail.
On board long haul flights, settle down to your pick of movies, including new summer releases, a curated Kids' Zone to keep little ones entertained, binge-worthy box sets, hit podcasts and music ranging from albums by Peppa Pig to House Club Classics.
You can now support the BA Better World Community Fund on your flight
Our BA Better World Community Fund creates life-changing opportunities while supporting amazing projects and charities that align with our sustainability programme.
Our on board charity collection is now raising vital funds for our five principal Community Fund partners: Alzheimer’s Society, The Disasters Emergency Committee, The King’s Trust, British Red Cross and The Earthshot Prize.
You can get involved by donating your spare change in any currency to help action real change for people and for the planet.
On behalf of all our partners and the BA Better World Community Fund, we’d like to thank you in advance for your continued support and generosity.
The UK’s most-awarded tea for taste is flying high
British Airways welcomes award-winning family-owned British brand Birchall as its new tea provider.
Serving almost 40 million cups of tea every year, we have gone to great lengths to ensure the right choice for our customers – with Birchall chosen for its performance in blind taste testing, as well as its British roots and sustainability credentials
Birchall tea will be served on board from 1 May – its Great Rift English Breakfast, the UK’s most-awarded tea for taste*, will feature in the new BA line-up, as well as Earl Grey, Peppermint, Camomile and others.
*Great Rift has won a prestigious Great Taste Award for 14 consecutive years and received Gold at the 2024 Leafies Awards, the only dedicated tea award in the UK.
Bringing more fizz to your flight
We're excited to announce some sparkling new additions to our award-winning wine lists this summer.
Starting in July, customers travelling in First will be able to enjoy prestige cuvée Fifty One Degrees North 2016, produced by the pioneering English winemaker Gusbourne. Additionally, Club World customers can savour Gusbourne's exceptional 2019 Vintage Rosé.
The renowned Kent winery is just one of the acclaimed, homegrown producers we’ve added to our First and business-class cabins in recent months.
Earlier this year, we made history by becoming the world's first airline to serve prestige cuvée English Sparkling wine on board, launching exclusive partnerships with Nyetimber, Sugrue South Downs, Digby Fine English, Roebuck, and Hattingley Valley.
Spring into Spring
With longer days and brighter skies ahead, we’re delighted to bring you a little taste of spring in our new High Life Cafe range.
From healthy, plant-based meals by Pollen + Grace to award-winning snacks and seasonal cocktails (did somebody say Spicy Margarita?), everything has been hand-selected for exceptional flavour. Place your order no later than 24 hours before your flight departs, and we’ll deliver straight to your seat.
Enjoy Grind Coffee on our short-haul flights
We're pleased to announce our new partnership with London-based brand Grind Coffee.
When you fly Euro Traveller routes with us from London Gatwick or London Heathrow, you can pre-order or buy Grind Coffee during your flight, as part of the range on offer from our High Life Café.
Choose from a flat white, long black or decaf coffee made from a bespoke blend, developed by Grind's head of coffee. Or cool down with a refreshing iced caramel latte made with the usual Grind goodness.
A British Original safety video
Our new safety video celebrates one of Britain’s most original exports, the period drama. It pays homage to the UK’s rich and varied history, made famous by our literature, films and TV.
Think Bridgerton, Pride and Prejudice and Outlander, but with plane seats, cabin crew and oxygen masks. Meet our cast of horseback-riding Scotsmen, corseted ladies-in-waiting and bejewelled queens, as they follow along with the safety instructions given by members of our team.
