Turin airport is 9 miles (16 km) north of the city. It is connected to the city centre’s Porta Nuova Station by a bus service that runs every half hour and takes 40 minutes. Within the city, Turin has an efficient bus and tram network, plus a single metro line.
Turin airport is a good place to stock up on Piedmontese specialties, including local wines – and sometimes tasting opportunities at the Wine and Food Corner. Italian clothing brands are also well represented, including Armani and Furla, and an excellent selection of duty free goods.
