After you arrive at Geneva Airport, transfer into the central city with ease by catching the Unireso train from inside the terminal building, which takes around 6 minutes to arrive in the city centre. A number of local buses also arrive every 8-15 minutes at the airport, stopping at multiple destinations across Geneva. Make use of the city's free public transport ticket, available from a machine inside the luggage collection area and valid for 80 minutes from issue.
Geneva has a temperate humid continental climate, which means warm summers and relatively mild winters. The mountains receive substantial snowfall, so pack accordingly if you plan on exploring further afield.
