Overview

The Kipriotis Maris Suites is a family-friendly resort, situated along the Psalidi coastline on the Greek island of Kos. This laidback hotel is less than 500 metres from the beach and features a restaurant, bar and pool. Set within the Kipriotis Resort Complex, the hotel provides access to two spas, a wide variety of sports and entertainment facilities and a kids’ club.

The hotel is separated from the Psalidi Beach by a coastal road, and a bus stop sits directly opposite the hotel, providing transport links to Kos Town, less than three miles away. You can also cycle along a dedicated path to Kos Town and explore the capital’s charming streets, historical attractions and authentic waterfront tavernas. Kos International Airport is around 17 miles west of the resort.

The spacious, light-filled rooms are complete with cool tiled floors and large sliding doors. They each open onto a private balcony or terrace, most of which overlook the manicured gardens and pool. Standard room amenities include air conditioning (available during the summer months), a satellite TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Families should upgrade to a Junior Suite with two single beds (or twin beds) for more space, as well as a seating area with one or two sofa beds.

When you're not relaxing on nearby Psalidi Beach, you can lounge around the hotel's large swimming pool, surrounded by numerous white sunbeds and cabana-style sunshades. Alternatively, visit one of two spas in the resort complex – the Hippocrates Holistic Wellness Spa at the sister Kipriotis Panorama Hotel or the Anaviosi Spa by Hippocrates Holistic Wellness Spa at Kipriotis Village. Both spas have an indoor pool and several treatment rooms, as well as diverse spa menus which incorporate local ingredients (all spa services are available for a supplement charge).

Other wellness facilities include a fitness centre with the latest weight-lifting equipment, and you can book yoga and fitness classes in resort or hire bikes to explore the island (for an additional charge). You can also play tennis on courts at the nearby Kipriotis Village and enjoy a whole host of facilities in the Kipriotis Resort Complex, including a kids’ pool, kids’ club and water park (kids’ club and water park access incur additional charges).

Dining information

At Kipriotis Maris Suites, you can savour buffet-style Mediterranean cuisine in Amvrosia Restaurant. Feast on fresh Greek vegetables and fruits, local seafood, quality meats and tasty vegetarian dishes. Speciality Mediterranean dishes are also available, including low-calorie options, gluten-free offerings and vegan fare. You can also dine at Ariadne restaurant in the Kipriotis Panorama Hotel upon reservation.

Order a variety of snacks at the poolside Nectar Bar between lunch and dinner, in addition to alcoholic beverages, fruity cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Live entertainment is on offer in the evenings here, too.
