From 25 November 2025, members of The British Airways Club automatically earn extra tier points on flights and holidays.
Earn up to 1,100 extra tier points on a return flight, depending on your cabin, with no need to register.

More benefits when you fly with Aer Lingus
You can already collect Avios and tier points when you fly with Aer Lingus.
Now our members can enjoy a range of other benefits including priority check-in, additional baggage and lounge access, depending on your tier and your route.
Collect up to 90,000 Avios by inviting your friends
You can collect up to 90,000 Avios per calendar year when you refer friends to take out a British Airways American Express® Card. We'll welcome them with bonus Avios too.

Collect, spend and track your Avios
Download the Avios app or sign in to your online account to keep track of your Avios, find new ways to collect, and easily search for Reward Flights.
You can also set up alerts in the app to let you know when Avios reward seats open up on selected British Airways flights.

Bronze, Silver and Gold members can use the Premium or Business Class check-in area when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights.
Priority Security will be provided at the airports below for the member plus one guest when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights:
- Dublin
- Shannon
- London Heathrow
- Amsterdam
- Belfast
- Birmingham
Lounge access will be provided at the lounges shown on the Aer Lingus website (excluding Barbados) for a member plus one guest when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights as part of a transatlantic itinerary.
Silver members will get one additional bag at 23kg when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights in economy, excluding EI Saver Fares.
Gold members will get one additional bag at 23kg when travelling in any cabin on Aer Lingus-operated flights, excluding EI Saver Fares. For EI Business class, an additional piece up to 32kg is allowed but the combined weight must not exceed 96kg.
Bronze, Silver and Gold members will be invited for Priority Boarding and may use the Priority Boarding lanes.
As Aer Lingus are not part of oneworld, FFP1/2/3 is used to internally recognise both British Airways and Aer Lingus elite tier members.

What are Avios and tier points?
As a Club member, you'll collect both Avios and tier points.

Set up a free household account with up to six other people in your household, including children. You'll be able to pool your Avios to bring those rewards even closer.
