Noise and air quality
Targets:
- quantify the air quality impact of our aircraft and ground vehicle operations at Heathrow, by March 2008
- achieve a 5% reduction in ground fleet mileage/engine hours by 2008 and 10% by 2010
Noise
We recognise that the noise and emissions from our aircraft and ground operations have an impact on the local community. We are therefore working hard to minimise noise from our operations.
Local air quality
Local air quality issues are becoming more of a concern to local communities. We acknowledge this and we are working with other stakeholders to minimise our impacts in this area.
