¹ This is a PNR containing at least one confirmed flight segment with the others open. It is best practice to include a Form of ID (FOID) for an
e-ticket with an Open Sector, as this aids retrieval of the ticket at an Airport Ticket desk. Examples of FOID are frequent flyer details (FQTV) or credit card, which do not need to be the form of payment. Note: Some GDS require a FOID to be able to issue an e-ticket with an Open Sector. The e-ticket mandate still applies in this case.

² An ADM will be issued to agents in respect of: 1) Any TOD where an
e-ticket could have been issued 2) Any TOD, even if the route is
non-e-ticketable, where a TOD request is made more than 7 days before flight departure. Note: The ADM process looks at the original date of ticket issuance and not the booking date. If a paper ticket has been issued in error on an e-ticketable route and ADM will be raised, as BA incurs a cost in processing the paper ticket.

* If for any reason a PNR is split, leaving the BA segments as an individual ticket, that ticket, if e-ticketable, MUST be e-ticketed. The "e" indicator may not always appear at itinerary level, however, if the BA e-ticketable segment of the itinerary is not issued as an e-ticket, then an ADM will be raised.

From January 2008 the following airlines will also join the mandate that have been implemented during November: JU, WY, CZ, EG, JO, JC, NU, AH.
