Otherwise, glimpse Crete’s rugged beauty with a drive along the coast ending at Balos viewpoint, which is ten miles away. While flights are available to both Chania & Heraklion, Ikos Kissamos is closer to Chania International Airport, which is 52 miles away.

Spread across the resort, there are eight pools – four outdoors including one for Deluxe Collection guests, three kids' pools and an indoor gym pool. Each offers cushioned loungers and umbrellas, as well as a food and drink service – so you won’t need to lift a finger. The children's pools are gently heated and there's a fun splash pad.
Follow the scent of Anne Semonin to the spa, where you’ll find a steam room, sauna, salt wall, ice room, relaxation area and an indoor pool. For an extra charge, expert therapists can work their magic with a treatment, while the hairdresser can keep you looking your best. Want to take some products home? If you're looking to keep active, there’s a smattering of activities. Up your cardio in the gym, challenge your travel companion to tennis or Padel ball, or boost your beachside experience at the water sports centre. There’s also a five-a-side football pitch, beach volleyball, aerobics and bikes. For a gentler activity, partake in yoga, Pilates or stretching. Once evening arrives, grab a cocktail in the bars alongside live music.
Pushchair rental, baby equipment, children’s menus and a playground make family holidays a breeze. Parents can even sign up for 30-minutes of complimentary beach or poolside childcare – allowing you to enjoy a peaceful dip, or a speedy tipple at the bar. Little ones will have a blast in the kids’ club for 4- to 12-year-olds and the teen club for over 12s. There’s also a creche for children aged 6 months to 4 years and a babysitting service for an extra charge. Dining is an unforgettable part of the Ikos experience, with high-quality buffets and a la carte menus designed by Michelin-starred chefs. Each restaurant offers children’s menus and vegan options, as well as a 100-strong wine list – lovingly designed by the Ikos sommelier.
The Market offers breezy buffets, with live cooking stations and high-quality spreads for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a refined ambience, Fresco plates up Italian fare, while Azul creates rich servings of Peruvian-inspired cuisine. Anaya’s a la carte creations capture the essence of Asia with flavourful curries, fresh noodles and dim sum. Other dining options include Mediterranean dishes at the Beach Club and authentic Cretan recipes at Kriti.
La Plage is the French a la carte restaurant by the sea, serving breakfast and lunch exclusively for Deluxe Collection Guests. All are welcome to indulge in their refined dishes at dinnertime, however a reservation is required. Please note that this restaurant closes between mealtimes. Seasons Restaurant is also exclusively for Deluxe Collection Guests only and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An exclusive selection of 30 wines is also on offer at this venue.
You’ll also have a great choice of bars including a laid-back lobby bar, a pool bar, a beach bar and a dedicated Deluxe Collection bar. Each serves unique cocktails, international beers and unforgettable wines.
