Set just in front of the lake, bordered by white sun loungers and umbrellas, the semi-circle sand-bottom pool provides a unique spot for relaxation. Towering palms surround the two other pools which are linked by a sunbathing bridge otherwise, stop by the tranquil adult-only pool, sinking into a sumptuous day bed for two. The award-winning adult-only Soma Spa, 'The Refined', offers invigorating Turkish and Roman baths as well as Greek-inspired treatments combined with products by renowned brand Elemis. Here you’ll also find an indoor pool, relaxation garden and gym. They run fitness classes on the lake pergola and sunrise yoga sessions, too.

Walk or cycle alongside olive, almond and fig trees on the resort’s nature trails, which span five kilometres. Otherwise, cruise around the resort lake in a pedalo or canoe, and continue your exploration of the Algarve with olive oil and wine tasting experiences. The ‘famous six’ golf courses of Vilamoura are within 12 miles of the resort, including the Old Course, Millennium, Victoria, Pinhal and Laguna golf courses. The concierge team are also on hand to assist with booking tee times, local restaurant reservations and nearby island excursions.

Younger guests, aged 4 to 12, can retreat to the kids’ club, which provides Ofsted-standard supervision. They can also plant their own flowers and herbs, while learning about healthy eating and sustainability at the KiEPOS learning garden. There’s a creche available, too. Please note that the location and hours of the kids’ club may vary during the winter or low season, depending on factors such as occupancy and weather.

If you’re staying in an Absolute Suite, Sapphire Family Retreat or Tropical Family Retreat, you’ll also have Haute Living Selection benefits, which includes access to an exclusive lounge from 10:00 to 23:00. The Haute Living Lounge provides complimentary hot and cold snacks throughout the day, as well as fruit, salads and traditional delicacies. Teas, coffees, beers, branded wines, soft drinks and juices are also available, as are branded spirits in the evenings. In addition, the lounge features dedicated concierge, high-speed Wi-Fi, tablets, magazines and coffee table books.

This hotel brings a Portuguese flavour to its celebrated Mediterranean menus at all five of its eateries. Start your day with a tempting buffet breakfast at Gustatio Restaurant, which also serves Portuguese comfort food and showstopping desserts. Tuck into Italian heritage paired with a carefully selected list of wines at the Antonino's Italian Restaurant. Sat atop the water, Blend offers a tempting tasting menu featuring fresh sushi and steaks. Blending the bold flavours of Peru and Japan, this restaurant serves up a delightfully original dining experience that’s seriously memorable. Dine at ACOSTA, for the freshest fish dishes crafted with premium Portuguese ingredients and modern culinary flair. This beachside eatery sits directly on the beach Praia de Falesia. Open daily, it’s the perfect spot for a breezy lunch or dinner.

Perched right on the beach with stunning sunset views, The Sora Adults-Only area (open from June until September) offers two distinct ways to dine. Grab gourmet bites on the go – from sushi to smoothies – from The Foodtruck. Otherwise, linger by the sunbeds for Mediterranean inspired snacks and spritzes from The Kiosk.

Centrally located between pools, the Estrella World Street Food serves up the best of Greek and Portuguese flavours with a fabulously indulgent street food-style menu to the pool bar at Domes Lake Algarve. The Migratory Bar is your go-to for blissful cocktails and bubbles. This chic cocktail and champagne lounge serves up a drinks list that playfully blends the top mixology trends and tropical ingredients.

If you’re staying outside the Haute Living Selection, a complimentary breakfast is included in your stay. You can also upgrade to half board for a supplement, which includes a daily American buffet breakfast and international buffet dinner at Gustatio Restaurant. Drinks aren’t included. Half-board guests can also dine around, with a credit per adult and child deducted from the a la carte dinner bill at selected restaurants. Acosta by Olivier Algarve is excluded from this offer. From November to March, dine-around options are limited to one a la carte restaurant as open-air venues are closed, although the credit remains valid year-round. The dine-around offer doesn’t apply during special themed evenings, such as BBQ night. These inclusions also don’t apply on 24 or 31 December, when a compulsory buffet dinner supplement applies.

If you’re staying in Haute Living Selection accommodation, half board is automatically included. This includes a daily American buffet breakfast and international buffet dinner at Gustatio Restaurant, alongside the aforementioned dine-around credit. Drinks aren’t included. From November to March, dine-around options are limited to one a la carte restaurant as open-air venues are closed, although the credit remains valid year-round.

Haute Living Selection guests staying for a minimum of five nights also receive one three-course a la carte dinner at Antonino's Italian restaurant, while stays of at least 10 nights include two three-course dinners. Drinks and selected menu items aren’t included, and bookings are required, subject to availability and weather conditions. These dining inclusions don’t apply on 24 or 31 December, when a compulsory buffet dinner supplement applies. Acosta by Olivier Algarve is excluded from half board and half-board credit can’t be used here. Selected menu items at Antonino's Restaurant are also excluded from the half-board package.

Reservations are required for selected restaurants and can be made through the hotel’s Guest Relations team.

Please note that during winter/low season, subject to varying factors such as occupancy levels, weather conditions or other variables, the resort may substitute Gustatio Restaurant with another alternative and Half Board buffet dinner, with a three-course set menu instead (two options per dish, non-allergenic/food intolerance options available on request). In addition, open air venues (Estrella Bar-Restaurant and Blend) will not operate for winter/low season due to weather conditions.

Children aged four and up are welcome in the indoor pool at the Soma Spa from 10:00 to 14:00, after which it becomes an adult-only space.

The kids’ club will be closed from 2 November 2026 to 15 February 2027, except from 24 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, when it will remain open. During this festive period, operating hours and activities may vary. Babysitting services are available year-round on request, at an additional cost.
