Panoramica
The all-inclusive Sun Siyam Olhuveli is located in the South Malé Atoll. This chic resort epitomises the Maldives with its pure white beaches, abundant sandbanks, tropical vegetation and enticing blue lagoons. Accommodation options range from luxury villas on the beach to quintessential overwater villas, some of which feature a private pool or hot tub. The Sun Siyam Olhuveli resort lies in the South Malé Atoll, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. The main island stretches over a mile from tip to tip, fringed by powdery white sand beaches. You can discover the mesmerising marine life around the house reef, where you might spot native sea turtles and majestic manta rays, or you can explore the surrounding islands on a private boat tour. From Velana International Airport, the island can be reached in around 45 minutes via a speedboat transfer.
All rooms and villas have been crafted with comfort, relaxation and elegance in mind. Their design incorporates natural materials, such as bamboo and stone, combined with touches of bright, tropical colour. Accommodation is located along the beach or above the water and includes Beach Pavilion and Sunset Beach Pavilion rooms, which open onto a private beachfront terrace or panoramic balcony, just steps away from the lagoon. Grand Beach Villas are larger, with an outdoor bathroom and an expansive beachfront terrace, and you can upgrade to a Grand Beach Villa with a private pool. Highlights include the all-day Sunset Restaurant for Main Island guests, where the main terrace is built above the water. Boasting live cooking stations and expansive buffet spreads, you can relish local delights or your favourite international dishes here. You can also enjoy buffet-style dining at Malaafaiy for Dream Island guests, where fabulous ocean vistas accompany every meal.
During the day, stop by the poolside’s Island Pizza for deli-style sandwiches, pizzas and burgers. The menu also includes fresh local seafood and light dishes inspired by Asian and Mediterranean flavours. As the sun begins to set, head to the beachfront for a romantic Indian-inspired meal at Namaste, where intimate dining cabanas are set close to the water or grab a seat at Milano for authentic Italian delights. You can also enjoy fine dining above the ocean at Siyam Orchid, where chefs have perfected the art of Thai cuisine, with a contemporary Maldivian twist.
The open-air Maghrib Grill is the place to go for surf and turf feasts, while Crust & Flame serves up tasty wood-fired pizzas, juicy burgers and light bites. There’s also the option to book a private destination dining experience on a secluded sandbank, in your own villa or under a canopy of stars.
Cool off with midday refreshments from The Olive, nestled next to one of the pools. The Sunrise Bar and Dream Bar serve light bites and refreshments while in the evening, visit the Dhoni Bar to witness some of the most spectacular sunset views on the island, before heading to the vibrant Lagoon Bar for creative cocktails and live evening entertainment.

Not all restaurants and bars will be open, buffet service will be assisted, and reservations are required. Housekeeping is available or can be opted out of. Recreational group activities will be limiting capacity – some activities may only be available as private sessions. A reservation is required to access the spa and guests are requested to shower before any treatments. Capacity is limited at the kids' club and early booking is recommended – children must be aged three and over to attend.
