Bandos Maldives sits on a tropical island in the Maldives’ North Malé Atoll, surrounded by azure waters and narrow white sand beaches. The island is just 15 minutes from Male International Airport by speedboat.
Standard Beachfront rooms, Garden Villas and Deluxe Beachfront rooms are decorated in a traditional Maldivian style, with wooden floors, thatched ceilings and simple wooden furnishings. Garden Villas are located in wooden chalets, offering a secluded outdoor decking area. Upgrade to a Deluxe Beachfront Room for more space, including a living area and a large bathroom. The contemporary Beach Villas, have direct access to the white sandy beach and come with a bathtub and outdoor shower, while modern Premium Beach Villas are set across two storeys, with an upper-level bedroom, a downstairs living room and an open-air jetted tub.

Bandos Maldives houses one of the longest established dive centres in the Maldives, which provides a range of PADI certification courses and trips to over 40 dive sites. If you prefer to snorkel, paddle above the spectacular house reef, which is considered one of the region’s best, and you can go water skiing, jet skiing and wakeboarding for an additional charge.
The resort’s Clubhouse sports complex is the place to work out, and play table tennis and board games in the entertainment area. Otherwise, you can play badminton or tennis. Meanwhile, children between the ages of 3 and 12 can spend time at the supervised kids’ club, complete with an outdoor playground and indoor nursery. The activities schedule covers arts and crafts, cooking lessons, treasure hunts and story time.
The hotel’s freshwater pool has a swim-up bar and plenty of loungers for sunbathing. You can also stroll along the white sand beaches, spot reef sharks on the jetty or withdraw to the Orchid Spa. The spa also offers beauty treatments, romantic spa packages for couples and junior spa packages for children. You can relax in the steam room and sauna before or after your treatment.

The Gallery Restaurant is the main buffet-style restaurant that opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a change of scenery, visit the Sea Breeze Cafe on the water’s edge and order pizza or hamburgers from the a la carte menu. Alternatively, savour grilled meats and seafood at The Grill Bar, indoors or on their overwater deck overlooking the Indian Ocean.
You can watch chefs skilfully cook your food on the teppanyaki hot plate at Um Yaki, or dine at Huvan. There are also opportunities to arrange private dining experiences on the beach.
Swim up to the Pool Bar, located in the main pool, and enjoy a juice, ice cream or milkshake. The Sand Bar will keep you refreshed with tropical cocktails and other beverages by day. At night, it turns into a hotspot, hosting karaoke events, live bands or discos.
