Mitsis Norida is a modern, all-inclusive hotel, located on a beautiful Blue Flag beach, on the Greek island of Kos. The beachfront resort offers a wide variety of land and sea activities, five pools, and an outdoor fitness area. It also provides four on-site restaurants and access to a spa at nearby hotel Mitsis Selection Blue Domes. Families are well catered for here, with another dedicated kids’ pool with water slides, kids’ clubs, a playground and an open-air cinema.
This upmarket hotel is located on the island’s south eastern coastline. It is low-rise but vast, with 8,000 m2 dedicated to five outdoor pools, interspersed with manicured lawns and an abundance of plants and palms. It’s situated directly on a Blue Flag beach, just under four miles from the traditional village of Kardamena and the hilltop ruins of the 14th Century Antimachia Castle. The capital of Kos Town, approximately 18 miles from the hotel, is worth a day trip. There’s a lovely central palm-lined harbour, as well as plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Kos International Airport is just over seven miles from Mitsis Norida.
The hotel offers 455 comfortable, spacious rooms, decorated with marble floors, wooden furniture and teal soft furnishings. There’s a furnished balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens, mountain or sea; and the en-suite bathroom features a combined bath and shower. Families should opt for a Family Sea View room, consisting of a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with two additional single beds.

It’s located directly on a Blue Flag awarded beach, where you can relax on a sun lounger, under a parasol or in a double cabana — waiter service is also free. Take your pick from one of the five main outdoor pools, or watch your kids whoosh down a water slide at the children’s pool. Kids also have access to the kids’ clubs, welcoming children from ages 4 to 16 years, and an outdoor playground. Other child-friendly activities include swimming lessons and weekly cooking lessons. Alternatively, they can grab a snack and head over to the open-air theater.
Adults can explore the rich recreation programme of archery, basketball, beach volley, boccia, outdoor gym exercises, tennis tournaments and water polo. Boat trips, select water sports, cycling, go karts and billiards are at an additional charge. You also have access to the stunning spa at Mitsis Selection Blue Domes, located only 50 metres away. Here you can indulge in individual and couple face and body treatments, take a dip in the indoor pool or try out the holistic wellness services.
The entertainment continues into the evening with live music, dancing shows, cocktail nights, magician performances and professional DJ sets.

The main restaurant serves local and international buffet cuisine from early morning, through lunch, dinner and a late buffet into the early hours of the following day. Regular theme nights are held here featuring show cooking stations. There are three a la carte restaurants including Big Blue for fish, Ni Hao for Asian food and Smokey Grill for meat lovers. On the beach, you can pick up a pizza fresh from the pizza oven or head over to the creperie for a selection of sweet and savoury treats.
The hotel also boasts seven bars including a beach bar, pool bar and cafe bar which is surrounded by the landscaped gardens. Enjoy afternoon tea at the Tea Corner for an excellent selection of teas and pastries, then catch an evening show at Amphitheatre Bar.
