Mitsis Royal Mare is known for its impressive, expansive spa, featuring thalasso therapies, treatment rooms, an indoor pool and a beauty centre. Treatments range from diet consultations to those aimed at improving circulation and lymph drainage. The hotel also has two outdoor pools, with an open-air whirlpool, as well as a sandy stretch of beach with chairs and umbrellas.

You’ll find facilities for table tennis, squash and beach volleyball, as well as a fitness centre. You can also canoe, windsurf and parasail.

Children are well provided for with a play area, children's pool, entertainment, sporting activities and a designated kids’ club. Babysitting and cots are available on request.

The hotel’s main restaurant, Symposio, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks with sea views from its veranda. In the mornings, you’ll see a Greek corner highlighting local specialities, and theme nights are offered four nights a week. Dietary requirements are catered to on request. At lunchtime, Albatros provides street-style burgers and pitas, grab-and-go options and Greek dishes beside the sea. Meanwhile, Allegro is your go-to for Italian fare. You’ll find sweet treats at the Alegria creperie and gelateria – tuck into crepes, waffles, ice creams and coffees, from morning until late evening. A la carte dinner options include wholesome Mediterranean choices alongside fine wines at Candia. Sample Pan-Asian eats at Royal Palm. Reservations are required for a la carte dining.

A wide choice of bars includes two pool bars and the Horizon beach bar, which also offers snacks. If hunger strikes in the early evenings, ‘teatime’ bites are available by the main pool.

Please note that a smart casual dress code is required in all restaurants during dinner – shorts and sleeveless shirts are not permitted.
