St Lawrence Gap – which is known for its abundance of bars, restaurants and boutiques – is also nearby (one mile away). In the evenings, head here to discover a hubbub of activity. Alternatively, if you don’t want to venture far, there are a few bars close to the hotel. You can always tee off at Barbados Golf Course which is a short bus or taxi ride from the hotel. Grantley Adams International Airport is just over five and a half miles away and Bridgetown, the island’s capital city, is of a similar distance (just over six miles).

The 93 rooms and studios on the property are comfortable and generously sized, although relatively basic. Decor is in harmony with the hotel’s cheerful orchid exterior – in some rooms you may find eponymous butterfly wall decorations and brightly patterned tropical curtains.
