Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba is a much-loved Aruba hotel with its own 40-acre private island. Divided into two properties – at the adult-only (18+) Renaissance Marina Hotel, laze by the pool and indulge in a spa treatment, before testing your odds at the casino. The hotel is situated in Oranjestad, Aruba’s vibrant capital, just three miles from Queen Beatrix International Airport. Located on a marina, you can stroll along the boardwalk admiring luxury yachts or hop on a water taxi to Renaissance Island, where private beaches await. Test your luck at the 24-hour casino, inside the Marina Hotel, before cashing your winnings at the Renaissance Mall – home to Gucci, Rolex, and more designer outlets. Within 500 metres of the hotel is the Archaeological Museum of Aruba, for a historical walk through, and Wilhelmina Park for a shaded woodland stroll. If you’re looking to tee off whilst you’re here, Tierra del Sol 18-hole course is six miles north, and The Links at Divi Aruba is two miles along the coast.
Spacious rooms and suites are divided between two hotels. At the adult-only (18+) Marina Hotel you’ll be met with modern rooms, decorated with reclaimed wooden beams, rattan pendant lights and barn style bathroom doors – for a rustic chic vibe. French balconies overlook the atrium, island or pool. At the Ocean Suites, a myriad of silvers and blues create a sea inspired palate in their spacious suites. Separate living rooms and kitchenettes provide ease for families, whereas balconies offer outdoor space to breathe in the Aruban breeze.

Laze by the pools, be it the adult-only pool overlooking the marina, or the family-friendly ocean suite pool, with swim-up bar. For Aruban beaches, bask in the sun at the man-made lagoon at Ocean Suites or hop on a water taxi to adult-only Flamingo beach or Iguana beach, with their white sands and calm shallows. Flamingo beach is well known for its roaming flamingos, who aren’t native to Aruba. From here you can partake in non-motorised water sports such as snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding.
