When you’re not in the parks, let loose in the zero-entry pool. The area is the focal point of the hotel with a hot tub, cabanas for hire, food and drinks service, and organised poolside activities including movies (weather permitting). You’ll also find a gym with strength and cardio equipment and a games room with arcade machines (fees apply). In the lobby, there’s a Universal shop, selling official merch, apparel, souvenirs and travel essentials.

Flora Taverna is the main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with great views over the park. When you’re in a hurry to hit the parks, Aurora Market offers grab-and-go options such as paninis, wraps, gelato and coffee. By the pool, Lotus Lagoon specialises in refreshing beverages. Try a frozen cocktail or an ice-cold beer – or grab something from the grill when hunger strikes. Don’t miss a visit to the hotel’s stunning rooftop Bar Helios at Universal Helios Grand Hotel. This incredible venue hosts a lively bar, an intimate dining zone, and a relaxed al fresco area – complete with stunning views over the park. Here you can enjoy casual fare including burgers, salads, seafood and tapas. (Must be 21+ with valid photo ID to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages).
