Long Beach Resort is situated on more than a kilometre of sandy beach and coral reef, where water sports are plentiful. Diving and snorkelling are a must, as is kayaking, paddle boarding, water skiing, windsurfing and the glass-bottom boat tours. Back on land, enjoy a game on one of three tennis courts.

Kids aged 2 to 11 years will be very well occupied at the kids’ club, which offers a phenomenal selection of activities from archery lessons taught by a professional coach, pizza-making sessions, yoga sessions and painting classes with the hotel’s resident artist. Meanwhile, the Waves teen club provides a range of land and water sports and fun excursions, plus access to a games room and a disco.

Whilst the children are occupied, adults can escape to the Zen-inspired GLOW Spa and Wellness Retreat, hidden amongst lush tropical gardens. They offer an extensive list of body treatments, facials and beauty services. You can also look after your wellbeing with Qi Gong, yoga and detox rituals.

Be sure to check out the ‘Come Alive’ Collection – special experiences designed to show off the magic of Mauritius. The collection includes ‘Sante’ featuring expert mixologists, ‘Swing and Drift’ for a massage on the beach while swinging in a hammock, Biodiversity Park to discover flora and fauna, a tour of the beehives and a honey tasting session and finally, ‘Transforming the Piazza’, where you will experience music and art against the stunning backdrop of the illuminated piazza.

Furthermore, the renowned golf course on Ile aux Cerfs island is accessed by a taxi boat – the resort operates a shuttle bus to the dock.

There are five on-site restaurants and two bars at Long Beach. The main buffet restaurant, Le Marche, serves breakfast and dinner, complemented by live cooking stations. Situated beside the beach and pool is Tides, open for lunch and afternoon tea. During dinner, Tides transforms into a cosy, romantic restaurant. Sapori is located on the resort’s piazza for Italian-inspired dishes, while Chopsticks (also located on the piazza) offers diners Asian dishes. Hasu is the hotel’s only adult restaurant, open for dinner with artfully created Japanese cuisine. Please note that Hasu is not included in the half board or all inclusive meal plans.

Grab a drink poolside at the laid-back Tides Pool & Beach Bar or head over to Shores, boasting gorgeous views of the cerulean lagoon, for a cocktail or two.

Golf green fees are unlimited and complimentary for every board basis. To ease the pace of play during the high golfing seasons, golf cart hire will be compulsory at Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club and Anathita Golf Course.
