A quiet, friendly property just outside Funchal, The Residence Porto Mare is a great hotel for self-catering in Madeira. There are leafy grounds with restaurants and bars, plus a selection of indoor and outdoor pools in the wider resort.
The hotel is situated on more than 13,000m2 of property with dedicated gardens. It’s also less than two miles from the centre of Funchal, the largest city on the island.
