Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is a Thai-inspired property that stretches along a secluded white sand beach on the eastern crescent of Dubai's Palm Jumeirah. Its sumptuous rooms are nestled within the lush grounds, surrounding three lagoon-style swimming pools, while the unique overwater villas rest above the dazzling waters of the Persian Gulf. First-rate hotel facilities include five restaurants, a beachfront infinity pool, a fitness studio, two tennis courts, a lavish spa and dedicated kids’ and teens’ clubs.
The resort sits on a quieter edge of the Palm Jumeirah, and you can take up various water sports on the beach. Families can also play at the Aquaventure Waterpark, just three miles away. The hotel operates long-tail boat rides to and from Barasti Beach (11 miles away) for a charge – and offers complimentary shuttle service to the Mall of the Emirates, just over 12 miles away. The world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is around 19 miles away, while Dubai International Airport lies less than 26 miles from the resort.
The hotel’s elegant rooms and villas are decorated in a contemporary style with dark wood furnishings. The varied Lagoon Access Rooms feature steps which lead directly into the pool, while Maldivian-style Overwater Villas sit above the Arabian Sea, with a glass viewing panel on the floor. Beach Pool Villas boast direct access to the beach and a private infinity pool. Families and larger groups may prefer one- or two-bedroom apartments in the adjacent North and South Residences building, which provide a separate bedroom and living area, in addition to a fully equipped kitchenette.

Dine al fresco on the poolside terrace, admiring views across the Persian Gulf, and choose from tropical fruits, egg dishes, pancakes, local mezze delicacies and more. Otherwise, grab a coffee or fruit smoothie from the Revo Café, before heading to The Beach House for a casual Mediterranean lunch beside the sea.
Set overlooking the Persian Gulf, the semi open-air Lotus Lounge is a great spot for a mid-morning coffee, light bites, afternoon tea and evening sundowners. For dinner, you can book a table at Mekong, a delightful Thai-themed restaurant with eclectic decor and an outdoor terrace with rickshaw-style tables. The a la carte menu is inspired by the diverse flavours of Thailand, China and Vietnam, and includes vegetarian and vegan options. Alternatively, Bushman’s Restaurant & Bar is an Australian-inspired steakhouse which serves an array of meat – including wagyu beef and seared kangaroo – fish, and vegetable dishes.
If you stay on a half-board basis, you can enjoy a daily buffet breakfast, followed by an a la carte lunch or dinner.
