Pickalbatros White Beach Resort Agadir Adults Only is a sprawling, adult-only (16+) resort that sits along Morocco’s south-western coastline. It boasts an impressive seven pools (one indoor) and an on-site spa, plus a fully equipped fitness centre. There are three restaurants to dine in, a food court for on-the-go snacks and three bars – all part of the all-inclusive plan. Rooms are beautifully styled and spacious, all feature a terrace or balcony and some come with a relaxing, 40-centimetre deep pool.
The hotel is located in the charming, laid-back village of Taghazout, previously a small fishing neighbourhood, now a mecca for surfers. It’s only 11 miles along the coast to the city of Agadir, where you can easily while away hours exploring Souk El Had, one of the largest in Morocco, haggling for honey, spices, tagines and argan oil. Take a trip sixteen miles inland to Paradise Valley, which as the name suggests, is a stunning terraced oasis, interspersed with waterfalls and lakes. Be sure to arrive early to experience this little piece of paradise to yourself. Agadir Al Massira International Airport is approximately 25 miles away, while Marrakech Menara Airport serves as another option, 167 miles away.
Spacious accommodation is housed in several low-rise buildings that overlook the manicured lawns and pool area. They are contemporary in style, with cream marble flooring and soft furnishings in a calming neutral colour scheme. Floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the rooms in natural light, all offer a furnished balcony or terrace. Some feature a lovely swim-up pool. Standard amenities include a flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar and free Wi-Fi.

For Italian, feast on freshly made pasta to mouth-watering pizzas at Alfredo Restaurant. Authentic flavours of Morocco are offered at Azha, where you can savour lamb tagine, chicken bastilla and couscous with vegetables. Both Alfredo and Azha are open daily for dinner. Alfredo is also the place to go for daily, late breakfast. The food court also provides a selection of savoury dishes and desserts, and you can stop by the bakery for a late breakfast or midnight snacks. During the day, the Beach Bar is open for refreshing drinks and light bites, while the Sports Bar is perfect to catch a game with a cool beer. Sachi Bar is a great spot for evening cocktails.
