Iberostar Selection Anthelia is an all-inclusive, beachfront hotel located in Costa Adeje, on the south-west coast of Tenerife. It’s a great family-friendly resort featuring convenient interconnecting rooms, children’s pools with slides and a pirate ship and a kids’ club. There’s an abundance of land and sea facilities to enjoy as well as a spa with a thermal circuit, hammam and Turkish bath.
The hotel is surrounded by lush gardens and is opposite the Blue Flag Fanabe Beach, which is fringed with palm trees and clear shallow water – perfect for young families. The centre of upmarket Costa Adeje is just under two miles from the hotel. Here you’ll find water sports, bars, restaurants and shopping. The vast water park, Aqualand Costa Adeje, is also worth a visit. In the middle of the island is Mount Teide National Park, which is approximately 40 miles away. It’s the highest mountain in Spain, and a must-see tourist attraction. The closest and main international airport is Tenerife's South Airport, known as the Reina Sofía Airport, which is around 12 miles from the hotel.
At Iberostar Selection Anthelia, you'll find spacious rooms and suites which include family-friendly categories. Each has a flat-screen TV and a balcony or terrace with sea, pool or garden views. Those looking for more space should opt for a Duplex Suite, which is split across two floors with a living room and whirlpool bath. Families might consider the interconnecting option with two double rooms and an adjoining door.

Star Camp kids’ club is available for children from 4 to 17 years of age, with a daily changing programme of activities offered to each age group. There are three children’s pools with slides, a pirate ship and a playground. You’ll also find two large outdoor swimming pools surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas.
The wellness centre offers a range of massages including anti-stress, lymphatic, sports, oriental, reflexology, Hawaiian lomi lomi and body wraps. The spa features a thermal circuit, active pool, jets and waterfalls circuit, 40-degree pool, cold-water pool, Finnish sauna, hammam and Turkish bath. Tennis and paddle tennis courts are available to use plus there’s two fitness rooms and a variety of activities to enjoy including aqua spinning, table tennis, aerobics, aqua gym and pool games (charges apply for tennis court use).

There are five on-site restaurants and three bars. Zeus is the main buffet restaurant, open every day for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, with show cooking stations in the evening. Portofino Italian Restaurant serves delicious pasta and oven-baked pizzas – make sure you try the focaccia, bruschetta or a starter with fresh mozzarella. The a la carte Poseidon Gourmet Restaurant, headed up by Jose Miguel Barrera and his team, uses only exclusive ingredients from the area to prepare dishes. For traditional Canary Island dishes, head over to Portofino Lunch Restaurant in the afternoons. For sumptuous seafood take a seat at Seasoul where you can also enjoy wonderful sunsets with a cocktail in hand. Please note reservations are required for a la carte restaurants.
The Pool Bar and Zumeria Pool Snack Bar serves light bites and snacks during the day, while the Hall Bar is a great place to head to in the evening for a cocktail.
The half board package includes breakfast and dinner in Zeus. If you’re staying half board in a Suite Duplex for seven nights or more, you can enjoy one a la carte dinner per stay (Poseidon and Portofino a la carte restaurants included).
