The hotel offers a very desirable and unique benefit, allowing you to choose your sunbathing spot around any pool on arrival, so you won’t need to make a dash to reserve one. Most popular is the glorious lagoon-style pool with a whirlpool. It overlooks the beach and is surrounded by plenty of comfy cushioned loungers. Families may opt for a position around the kids’ pool, while adults will take a quiet spot at the exclusive adult-only, swim-up pool. It’s only a short walk through the hotel grounds to the beautiful beach, where there’s an impressive range of water sports available at the water sports centre. Plus, you can book a game of tennis at the hotel’s floodlit court or give the two padel courts a try. Furthermore, a full daytime and evening activity and entertainment programme is provided.

Next door at Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa, pamper yourself with a signature treatment at the award-winning Pearl SPA. It offers a wealth of facilities designed to rejuvenate and restore balance to your overall well-being. They include a Sanarium, combining the benefits of a sauna and a steam room, a snow chamber, heated pools with different temperatures and salt concentrations, and an invigorating shower area with jets, sprays and a water bucket. Its menu of treatments includes the Sanotherm, which involves the application of infrared light for the purpose of hyperemy and thermotherapy and the Sanospa, where micro-jets of water are used to massage. As well as Rasul mud baths and foot baths. There is also a relaxation room to unwind in.

In addition, you can head to the Aquarius Fitness centre for a cardio workout, with its strength-building Technogym machines, or book a game of squash at the professional indoor squash court. Sunrise Pearl is also home to a kids’ club which hosts daily activities, such as skittles, treasure hunts and arts and crafts, and a games room to keep older kids entertained. Levanda Restaurant is the hotel’s main beachside offering, which is open for buffet breakfast and a leisurely a la carte lunch. Traditional Greek favourites such as moussaka and souvlaki will be hard to resist – burgers, pizza and pasta are also popular. The restaurant offers a good children’s menu, as well as sweet treats including homemade ice cream. For dinner, Panorama Restaurant is a great option, offering panoramic sea views, as the name suggests.

For drinks, pop into Othello Bar for a coffee or a nightcap on the spacious terrace, take a seat at the swim-up Oasis Pool Bar for daytime drinks and snacks, or amble over to Sunrise Beach Bar, located beside the golden sands. Adults may want to retreat to the Adults Pool Bar for chilled vibes and tunes.

In addition, if you have chosen the half board package you can also enjoy one dinner at each of the six a la carte restaurants per week. Reservations are required at least one day in advance, upon arrival.

All but one are located on the main road, no further than 300 metres from the hotel itself, and they are all owned and operated by Sunrise Hotels. For a casual dining experience, Reef American Grill & Sports Bar, located right next to the entrance of Sunrise Beach hotel, offers a wide selection of international dishes including burgers. For authentic Greek cuisine, inspired by northern Greece and the Aegean islands, you must reserve a table at Kyklos Greek Restaurant. Marcello’s Italian Restaurant prepares traditional Italian dishes using the finest ingredients. While Lemongrass Pan-Asian Restaurant serves authentic recipes from the Far East, prepared in the open show kitchen. The Braseiro Rodizio Brazilian Steakhouse features a gourmet salad bar with a variety of rotisserie grilled meats slow roasted over a bed of wood charcoal. The Fishbone Restaurant, located at the pool area of Sunrise Pearl hotel, specialises in freshly prepared seafood including the fisherman’s catch of the day, cooked on the grill. You’ll receive an allowance if you choose to dine here.
