You have full access to all the amenities at the Walt Disney World Swan and Swan Reserve, including six pools, three fitness centres, a total of 23 restaurants and lounges, plus daily resort and recreational activities.

Your choice of six pools, includes a tropical three-acre grotto pool featuring lush greenery, waterfalls, rock caves and a twisting waterslide, plus a spring pool, two lap pools and a kids’ pool. There are also four relaxing whirlpool spas.

You can get your blood pumping at the state-of-the-art Dolphin Health Club with cardio and strength machines, free weights and ellipticals. Yoga mats and stability balls are available upon request. Alternatively, strike up a game of volleyball on the sandy court or jog along the scenic trails around Crescent Lake.

Spend time with the whole family at the playground for children between the ages of two to twelve, featuring swings, tunnels, slides and soft surfaces. You can also whisk your kids to an arcade or play mini-golf at the Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf courses, with whimsical backdrops inspired by the classic film Fantasia (for a cost). Kids ages 5 to 12 can also hang out at the supervised Camp Dolphin, although reservations and fees are required for the evening programme. You can also head to Lagoon, the resort's dazzling destination for arcade favourites, bowling and all the latest interactive entertainment. Perfect for some family-friendly fun, you can also grab a mid-game bite or full-on feast here.

While the kids are occupied, you can unwind at the Balinese-themed Mandara Spa. Let the relaxing sound of chimes melt away your stress as you step into the serene Meditation Garden and Tea Garden. This full-service luxury spa offers a myriad of invigorating and therapeutic treatments, including massages, body wraps and facials. They also provide manicures, pedicures and hairstyling.

Head to Bourbon Steak - A Michael Mina Restaurant for a menu of grilled favourites and cool cocktails. Stop by the AAA Four-Diamond certified, Todd English’s Bluezoo for fresh, coastal cuisine – featured dishes here include the indulgent two-pound Maine ‘Cantonese’ lobster. Dig into southern Italian specialties at Il Mulino New York Trattoria. Sit on a black leather chair beneath rustic wooden beams, surrounded by exposed red brick walls and unwind in the restaurant’s stylish surroundings. Expect plenty of pasta, pizza and fresh fish. You’ll find the sizzling flavours of Mexico at Rosa Mexicano and sensational sushi at Kimonos. You can watch chefs create dishes like delicate sushi rolls and tempura platters at the teakwood bar here. At Amare, a Mediterranean-inspired menu and refined regional wine list await.

Unwind poolside at the Cabana Bar and Beach Club. Open for lunch and dinner, this spot is perfect for grabbing a light bite or refreshing frozen cocktail. The fountain serves up sweet treats and snacks – order soft-serve ice cream, milkshakes, hearty sandwiches and salads here. Start your day in the sun-filled Garden Grove with breakfast beneath a 25-foot oak tree. Paper lanterns and fairy lights twinkle in the branches above you as you tuck into easy-going morning dishes. At lunchtime, sandwiches and salads are the menu’s main attractions. Sitting poolside, both Splash Pool Bar and Tangerine serve up handcrafted refreshments and small plates. There’s also Java, perfect for a quick fuel-up, Chill, brimming with frozen delights, Fuel, stocking a range of grab-and-go snacks and sandwiches, and Grounds, serving up craft coffee. If you fancy a change of scene, Lagoon, the resort's game zone, is ideal for a chilled bite. This spot is great for snacking between rounds or settling in for something more.

Sip classic cocktails at Il Mulino Lounge or sample sake and plum wine at Kimonos Lounge. Indulge in a frosty mug of Phins and Feathers beer or opt for the exclusive Smoke N’ Roses cocktails at Phins. The Rosa Mexicano Lounge serves frozen pomegranate margaritas, traditional tequilas and mezcals, while the lounge at Todd English’s Bluezoo offers champagne bubbles and specialty cordials. Classic cocktails and light bites can also be had at Stir.

When you dine at one of the resort's signature restaurants, your little ones can enjoy up to two hours at Camp Dolphin, completely complimentary. Just book ahead, and you'll be refunded the fee when you show a valid dining receipt – it's the perfect perk.
