There are plenty of on-site activities for all ages. Families will enjoy the beach pool, with its 181-foot-long waterslide, overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon, or the tranquil zero-entry Courtyard pool. Young swashbucklers, from 4-12 years, can also go on a Disney Pirate Adventure Cruise, following clues to find hidden treasure, while you find time to enjoy a game of tennis, a spa treatment or a gym session in the health club. As night falls the Grand Floridian campfire serves up some old-fashioned fun, where you can toast marshmallows next to a crackling fire, before catching a movie under the stars, with an outdoor screening of a favourite Disney film.

Join your favourite Disney Characters for a breakfast buffet, dining on Mickey-shaped waffles, at 1900 Park Fare. Or book a seat for your little ones at the Wonderland Tea Party, for an hour-long ‘unbirthday party’, while you enjoy a more relaxing afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea Room.

The hotel’s restaurants also include an upmarket restaurant called Citricos, an intimate AAA Five Diamond Award® restaurant called Victoria & Albert’s and Narcoossee’s, a casual waterfront setting. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.

Citricos serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in a beautiful dining room. The décor features sun-drenched Provençal colours, with an open-air kitchen offering a seasonal menu. Sip classic cocktails and listen to live jazz standards by the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra from the Citricos Bar, behind the bandstand. Victoria & Albert’s offers award-winning haute cuisine or a ten-course tasting menu and an award-winning wine list. Narcoossee’s serves seafood and steak or a combination of the two with the popular surf and turf dish.
